I need a smoke or heat alarm which closes or opens a switch when triggered. Sound/light not strictly required, as I can use the switched contact to perform the actual alarm function to alert the human.

The purpose of this is to monitor my 3D printer which is housed in an enclosded cabinet. If smoke is detected or the ambient temperature rises above a designated threshold I'd like the sensor to trigger, and from there I can auto-shutdown the power to prevent thermal runaway. Just relying on the printers electronics isn't good enough - circuits fail, and particularly with 3D printers the heated elements could be permanently switched on and not responsive to the normal heating thermistors.

Could someone please advise a smoke/heat detector which triggers a switched output? Not looking for anything fancy, just a belt and braces solution.
