I'm trying to locate a replacement pop-up bathroom sink plug which seems to be smaller than the standard (1 1/4") size. The plug is 35mm at it's widest diameter, the rubber seal being 2 or 3 mm smaller.

Any ideas where I might be able to get one? I can't see a manufacture name on the sink, the tap is as an Aumix but not sure that's related.

Google has failed me!

Is there a lever on the back of the tap to pop the waste up? If so then the waste more than likely came with the tap itself.

What is wrong with the waste anyhow?

Yes there is a lever on the tap. I haven't had much luck tracking down "Aumix" products though but will have another Google...

The plug pictured is from the main bathroom, the same sized plug was missing from the ensuite bathroom when we moved into the house! Hence looking for another one.

Nope, that's a standard 1 1/4" unfortunately. Comparing mine to one of those in a shop mine was about 3-4mm smaller in diameter.

:dunno: Every online search I've done leads me back to Grohe...

Only thing I can suggest from here would be to take the part (And your ruler/measure) into independent plumbers merchant to see if they have anything...
