 Post subject: sliding drive gate

hi ive been asked to make a pair of folding gates into a single siding gate im going to use a swivel wheel to hold the wieght at the one end but what way would be best to make runners for the other sideto attach i really cant have to tight a fit as the riveway isnt level (any ideas welcome)

Without seeing it its difficult tograsp exactly what you need to do.

Heres a supplier of varous gate systems to give you a few ideas.

You could run the gates between two sets of rollers, with a spring loaded wheel...

If they are big, maybe look at using a cantilever system. 8-)

Get some pics up and i may have a few ideas for you. :thumbright:

thats great il go for the sppring loaded wheel and runner idea as i was thinking along this line but wasnt sure what was available . thanks for the link that has really helped me. the gates are only 3ft high and 11ft long im hoping this will do
