Does anyone know of a cheaper alterative for sanding pads for my skil palm sander 7226, than the more expensive bosch pads. Thanks

Just use any hook and loop sand paper and cut it to size if you need to. I put round discs on my triangular sander and never trim it to match the pad. I bought a load when Lidl had an offer on and they have been fine.
