Hello and thanks for looking.

I have currently a single ceiling rose, 3 in neutral, 3 in loop and 2 in line with one having a brown sleeve. This is all fed by 3 wires.

What I would like to do is fit two double insulated pendent lights about a foot either side of the ceiling rose and put the two flex cables into the existing ceiling rose.

My research has returned mixed results!

I have no issue getting a spark in, but i'd like to at least know if this is a simple task or not before hand.

Thanks for your time.

Alf

Its simple.

Why don't you do it? (Leave the ceiling rose where it is and bring out a flex for each new lamp)

:welcomeuhm: 3 lives in loop are your permanent "lives" The one with the sleeve is your "switched live" The main problem you are going to have with what you propose is that the ceiling rose has very small terminals, wago connectors would be a better bet (Google wago connectors)

Basically your permanent lives must all be connected together, as well as the neutrals though separate to the live obv.

Neutral to each light fitting and switched live to each fitting. Earth continuity must be maintained so you'll prolly need 4 Wago's.
