Hi,

I currently have a folding bath screen from W*ckes that I installed. Problem is I hate the appearance of it and it now looks scabby with mould on the rubber bits which will just not come off. I am going to scrap it and just put up a nice shower curtain.

Since the property will be rented to a family in the future I want to make sure the rail is STRONG so kids swinging on the curtain etc will not pull it down. The ones I have looked at on the net which look strong enough tend to be v. expensive -- also I would have no idea how good the fasteners were until it arrived.

The rail needs to be curved -- probably P-shaped and fastened at both ends and at least one fastener in the middle. Anyone have an idea how best I could make one (I have a pipe-bender if needed) and where to get suitable fasteners?

Alternatively any recommendations of good suppliers of (not outrageously expensive) STRONG curved/bendable shower curtain rails?

a curved rail by its nature will be weak you will need a centre support and suggest you make the curtain rings the week point and use those "C" shaped clips that are actualy more like "0" with a slot down the side that may stretch off or break iff the kids swing on it

we will try it in plumbing forum first then the tilers
