Hi All,

I have a Keter plastic shed which I find a very good product. The only issue is one of condensation.

I am thinking of insulating on the inside with polystyrene type insulating but would appreciate any help / info on doing this and how it shold be done.

Thanks

Yes, it has two vents in the apex of the roof, one at each end. - The shed is 6' x 8' - The condensation is not massive but enough to cause concern and make the chair covers stored in it to feel very damp.

Thx

the trouble you will have is attaching to the plastic without causing damage
insulating it wont stop the problem in its self as the temperature will just average over the day and night but i would expect it to reduce a lot

Thanks for the info, what I will do then is insulate it and install a small "greenhouse" heater to keep a constant temperature.

Thx

I insulated my garage doors recently as they work like huge freezing radiators in winter-

The insulation was Jablite, which was held in place with the foam adhesive. You would have to ensure that the foam did not attack the plastic if you were to try that method!

Apology for going off topic :cb
I have garage the is attached to the main house (pretty normal)
The wall that seperates the garage and the house is a breeze blockas such i think insulation is very poor , during the winter the garage gets very cold as such the cold comes into the due to the single skin wall and poor insulation

My questionis is can the garage door insulation method be used on this wall too

Don't see why not, although you could always batten it out and put the insulation between the battens- then board it with external ply etc.
