I was going to a fancy dress party one Christmas eve, so I went to work that afternoon dressed as Henry VIII.

Women just couldn't keep their hands to themselves. They didn't seem able to stop themselves from fondling my thighs.

Fine with the younger women, but the old grannies did so too. They were even more forward.

Did I feel sexually harrassed? Yes I did.

:laughing3: :sign5: A violated stoday! Now thats funny!

My brother teaches in Scotland, I think the majority of students are female and has said that it is embarrassing and dangerous when the young girls take a fancy to you, as it could be your career down the drain even if their is a hint of any wrong doing, plus their is the danger that they make up stories in bravado that can get out of hand and cause all manner of grief - think your hubby is just worry about those very sort of issues. You do get double standards when it comes to sexual harassment, and I get hacked off when its only us men who are the alleged perpetrators, which we all know is a load of old bull!

Today, my oh mentioned that they are some of the class he taught years ago and they're a good bunch of wind up merchants.

Louise...first off you are married to a teacher ....let's face it they do moan about stuff...like quite a lot.
Have to agree with Aardy a bit...having been on the receiving end (in days gone by) of a bit of very nasty harassment....not fun.
These days I miss a bit of the old switswoo...but then I have gone to seeeeed. Gracefully though.
Since going into business with hubby about 10 years ago I get more and more miffed when he talks about work in bed..which I reckon is work abuse in the sex place

Mrs A would agree with you on that one! I am getting better though (slowly, just, maybe...) but when you wake up with that flash of inspiration at 2 o'clock in the morning and the only person you can tell is the parrot, it can be tough - if not a little dangerous!
