I had to call 1and1 again this morning because the server was down again, I checked all sites and non could be displayed.

Does anyone know when the server went offline approximately?

It could of been last night when it went offline?

Thanks

I had a quick look this morning and couldn't get on because my password wasn't recognised! Was that something to do with it going off line?

don't know

I checked at 7am and it was offline, I called support and gave them the usual ear bashing. Thought perhaps it had crashed the night before, but looks like it did not as nobody has mentioned anything.

I have ordered a new server with infrenion.

The site will be moved in the next few days hopefully.

The site will probably be unavailable for a short while whilst it is moved and the dns settings are updated.

Hopefully the distruption will be minimal.

Only info I have is -
Server went down: Sunday 20th 00:31
Server up again: Sunday 20th 07:28

Montastic didn't report it as being down yesterday - but I couldn't access it either

Montastic don't tell me every time it is down and I think that their reporting is not very reliable.

That is strange

I phoned them at 7:11 am and was still on the phone to them at 7: 30, when I set off for college. I then checked at 8am and 8: 30 and it was still down.

Perhaps they fixed it for a few minutes before it broke again or something :?
