Hi, my dual flush button broke and I bought a replacement from B&Q, making the incorrect assumption that they’d all be a standard fit and would fit my system. It didn’t, and wouldn’t stay attached to the little plastic clamp. I’ve since tried buying a button from home base, but that won’t fit properly either. I’m really reluctant to have to replace the whole mechanism, as my closed couple cistern is now enclosed within wetwalled boxing, and would mean ripping part of my bathroom apart. So I’m looking for some help as to where I could buy a button which would fit the mechanism I have. I don’t have a name or model number for it, so even if someone knows and could tell me, I could then at least google it to find the button that fits. I will attach pictures. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve no idea if any of those will fit the plastic clamp that it’s supposed to attach to though, otherwise I’d have ordered one offline already. It’s not the top part of the button I’m having trouble fitting the cistern, it’s the bit that attaches to the cable, and none of the pics on that link show that part of the button

But assuming you've got the broken button can't you match to the picture, if the top looks the same it should fit

I don’t have the original broken button though unfortunately. When I first bought a replacement, I assumed it would be a standard fit, so through the original one out. Stupid, I know!

Aah ok, the site I linked to, you can send them a picture of your syphon and they'll identity it and send you the correct replacement button.
