Has anyone got a decent site/link to a screw supplier? mainly twin threads from 40mm upwards, always feel like I'm being ripped off paying £7-£8 for a box?

(Mods... couldn't see anywhere else to ask this question)

I have been using them of late. They seem to be a bit cheaper than SF on some things but not on all.

When in London, I always used Clerkenwell Screws, they must do a postal service!

Toolstation is not filtered in any way

We only filter sites that try and spam us, toolstation have never spammed us!

Sometimes when you post a link and you click preview it get shortened, like this-

Code:
http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Screws+Fixings/Twinthread+Screws/Twinthread+Countersunk+EB+Pozi+2+x+8/d90/sd850/p65079

which will appear as http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Screws+ ... 850/p65079

The forum software does this on all links posted including links to this site

Give a company called TimCo a call. Good screws at good prices. I think there is a minimum order, but they might have a local stockist.

There used to be a company called Mainline up near Manchester but haven't used them for years so don't know if they are still about.

Is it just me does anyone else find that the cheaper screws end up snapping half the time or the heads just twisting off??
