I have purchased some new knobs for kitchen drawers, and they are fine except the screws are not long enough to fit through the drawer and the drawer front, I need the same size in order to fit the actual knob but a longer screw...it says on the order receipt the screw is 2cm/0.78"...I am pretty dumb with this so which is the length measurement?...or is it just the actual screw size fitting wise and I just need to get a longer version?...trying so hard to do my kitchen up a bit but realising I am sooooo not clued up.

2 cm (I hate Centimetres :-) ) is about 0.78" so they are both the length.
At a guess the screws will be 4mm diameter "M4" (M4 is the thread)
Something like these here should do it

Obviously order the length you need.

Or alternatively snap-off versions which you cut with a trangular file to the required length then just snap-off are available. Always a good "get you out of a hole" solution for kitchen fitters

OK, I'm an "old school" chippie, so please don't ask me to do a bodge job - I didn't bring my horse today and in any case you don't seem to have a hitching rail!
