Finally facing something he can't cheat at.......

although there's no reason to not wish him a speedy recovery of course.

How sad, apparently he was swerving to run someone off the piste at the time.............

Took a panel of three experts to tell the press conference that Schu is in an artificial coma but fighting for his life; they could be better employed "fighting for someones well being".
Same as the BBC tv news hour, takes a team to tell us the headlines and weather, rant over for now!

would be odd to die like that. Remember Steve Irwin the world expected him to get to ripped apart by crocs or get a pair of black mamba fangs in the face.

Instead a stingray got him

Classic Clarkson!

Jeremy Clarkson, of television's Top Gear, had this alternative take on Schumacher's injury.

His colleague, fellow Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond, of course recovered from a very serious brain injury a few years ago.

He added: "In other words, it's possible after even a big brain bang to go back to exactly how you were before."

Followed by:

Jeremy Clarkson ✔ @JeremyClarkson

The worrying thing about brain injuries is that you can recover only to find you're a midget with a marked Birmingham accent when drunk.

I can only hope he has a speedy recovery, I'm sure his family are very worried.

Hmmmm... Builders concerned about Russians, maybe if they're being undercut on quotes otherwise, very unlikely.

Not to put to fine a point on it BA, I doubt 1% of the UK knew of that Russian town/city before yesterday's terrorist act but, I also doubt if 1% of the UK didn't know who Schumacher was, newsworthyness (if thats a word) isn't about serverity it never has been, its about "what sells papers" like it or not.

Regards
T

I agree with Big-all, seems the more famous or infamous the celeb is the more newsworthy.

We should all switch off.

not an f1 fan at all. find it pretty boring apart from the crashes like. more a foota fan as you lot that look in here will know.

however ive gotta wish him a full recovery. i of course remember how good a driver he was in the past. fingers crossed these docs can reduce all the swelling and all that.
