I had to buy new work gear recently, against my will I might add "wife" said I looked scruffy that didn't bother me although it did start to bother me when I had to get undressed at the front door before I could get in the house, I have an elderly neighbour who got an eye full. so more through embarrassment then wifey pressure. They are work clothes at the end of the day, it's not a bloody suit!
