From the bolded part, do I assume you know two people with one they don't want?

I am trying to buy one on ebay and just missed out on one for £24 including postage because I forgot the lot was closing!

all my information was gained from other posters comments this may have even been the feedback on the screwfix tool reveiw connected to each product !!!

have you noticed on the recip saw the motor is actualy verticaly mounted in front off the handle so it could be several inches shorter
have you lost the rubber sements on your drill chuck yet

I think the recip saw is excellent, and I was really suprised how well it goes with the batteries.

the other hammer drill with the spirit level is one off the worst gimicky things that ryobi have done to easy to loose and a crap looking drill if you loose it

the charger on the right, will that charge lion batts? How do you tell?

The manual is long gone.

yes its a li-on charger if you look on a lion battery it has 2 contacts on top off the main battery that make contact with the two odd contacts on top off the charger

you wont regret li-ions 2 easily = 4 because off the flexibility but get the 2.4 ah not the new smaller ones they do now

looking at that site, i can get two 1.4ah lions for £100
or one 2.4ah for £75

do you use lions? How do these two types of battery compare to the ni-cad's I have? I don't really know how to translate a cash value to the ah numbers

i have 3 x 2.4ah li-ons and 8 nicads [2x1.5 4x1.7 and 2x 2ah]

i realy need to loose at least 4 nicads and 2 charger

at the min i use the nicads as you need to cycle them every few weeks to help them hold there charge
i only use the lions when i have loads of planing routing circular sawing you know all the heavy drainers

one thing to note is the lions have parralell sides top to bottom where as the nicads taper in slightly which means the fluro lamp will not easily fit the lion batteries you need to be quite brutal so i dont use them on the lamp although with use it seemed easier and got one in without feeling overly tight
