This looks good for the money-

Great value 18V kit comprising: Circular Saw with laser, aluminium base, riving knife and ultra-thin TCT kerf blade

It's a very nice price for that lot - especially with 2 batteries.

They must be trying to shift all the NiCad stuff now that the Li-ion stuff is out there.

Pity I can't justify buying one, I've got everything in the kit except the random orbit sander.

Must.....not.....buy.......any........more........Ryobi!

I bet you could sell your stuff on ebay and buy a full kit with the proceeds.

I did that with a load of Dewalt gear of mine

mdf i would say 24ft but would probably manage 24ft on 6mm on top as less drag

jigsaw will go on for ever as its a low power draw but wouldn't choose to cut any strait lines with it

would you like me to try the jigsaw on 3x2"??

one thanks per few threads is enough
one per post is great for the ego but not nessesery :thumbright: :thumbright:

yes jigsaw can cut letterbox but you need pendulum off 2 hole in diagonal corners[8mm] and cut 3 or 4mm inside the line and finish with a chisel

so you dont want me to try cutting some 3x2 with the circular saw ???
incidentily its a left handed saw but not realy important

i didn't notice for over 2 years its not left handed as such as it has no extraction there's no hose to get in the way so all you notice when you use it right hand is you see the saw blade rather than the motor
and if the off cut is not supported you still have the strait edge on the work to stop accidental wanders into the work but now the saw base is now mostly on the waste side so can dip iff not supported on the last few inches

but as i say i didnt notice for 2 years
