I wish to refelt the shed roof but the nails I have appear be too long i.e. they will go right through the roof.

Is there a certain size nail that should be used for shed roofs?

Thank You.

Depends on thickness of wood

You can get clout nails as short as 1/2" - if your roof is thinner than that I'd be surprised, (and it's too thin if it is).

Thank You.

Shed successfully refelted using 13mm nails.

Took me 2 days ,not the neatest, but it worked!
