Hi All

I am in need to replace a roof fascia due to rot. Although I have no idea what to replace it with. The timber is roughly 138 x 18mm. I see everyone is replacing with UPVC panels now, but they dont sell the correct size. I also cannot find the correct size wood either.

Most fascias are designed to accommodate soffits. I am not sure what to do now. Any ideas please?

Upvc fascia sizes go up in 25mm increments, you buy one size larger than you need (so, 150mm) and cut it down with a saw, it cuts very easily.

Thank you. Any thoughts on the type of fascia board? They do different types.

A flat one like this?

That looks like it will work. (Don't forget the Polytops for fixing).

Will it also cover the timber below the existing fascia, or do you have something else planned for that?
