Hi all, was going to attempt to change the pressure relief valve on my system as it is now leaking like no tomorrow (see image attached)

Before I start the work, is there any safety precautions I need to take? Or is turning the mains water off good enough (which is under the sink for my house)? I might have to cut and weld a new pipe section on the inlet side as the newer multibloc is more ocmpact than the current one.

That will be under pressure and you will need to turn off the main and drain the hot down a bit to reduce pressure. You also have to re-pressurise the expansion tank after. I watched a proper guy do my son's and I an glad I did not attempt it. That is why the folk on here stand back from advising on repairs like this.
