Hi all
I want to replace all the internal doors in my house to 4 panel white moulded doors (Victorian style). I can get most of the doors off the shelf at a mainstream DIY store but I am struggling to find doors for two awkward sized door frames. The measurement of the current doors for these are 2040 x 840mm and 1910 x 710mm. I am less bothered about the smaller sized door being a 4-panel door as this is for the bathroom (although this is preferable) but would like the larger size door to be a 4 panel door as this is for the bedroom. However I am aware that if you take more than 5mm of each end of the length/width that they will look odd; and none of the standard sizes seem to come anywhere close to these.
So please could anyone advise if they know of a company that offer doors at these approx sizes, or any tips for getting round this problem? I have been quoted £500 for a bespoke door but this is way over budget (am looking to spend £50 max per door)
Many thanks in advance for your help! SB
