I need to replace a basin in a small en-suite washroom with a vanity unit (not bought yet). The water supply to this room doesn't seem to have its own stop valve. I want to remove the existing basin and decorate before I instal the new one. Is there a way to 'cap' the pipes at the tap end whilst i decorate so that I can turn water back on for rest of house?
Cheers

will cap off the pipe if 15mm..

Edit

Oh and fit isolators while the water is drained down/off. it'll make fitting the new unit easier.

Best way is to cut the pipe and fit service valve.
