Hi I am hoping someone can help, I am trying to replace the sensor light in my bathroom with a one way pull cord.

I have 4 wires coming from the ceiling in grey casing I have 2 wires with brown covering and the earth then I have a second grey casing with just the blue wire showing. I am not sure how it wire it up

Truth be known, there is no definitive answer to your question since it depends on how who installed it chose to wire it, it's not a case of this wire does this and this wire goes there, all we can do is guess.

But first of all pictures would help, see my signature, and also what was there before you took it down?

When I click the Link to show how to post pictures it comes up with an empty red box

I did it takes you to a moderator post I clicked the link at the bottom about attaching pic, when this loads up I get an empty red box

The empty red box means the flash video (that would be in it) isn't playing. Flash is often considered to be a bit of a vulnerability, so may not be enabled by default these days, or even installed on your computer.

Attaching pictures isn't too complicated though. Open the full editor (the button below the 'quick reply' window). Below the full editor's text window is an area called 'upload attachment'. There you can click 'choose file' to find the image on your computer, followed by 'add the file' once you have chosen it. You can also add a comment if you wish.

There are a few restrictions on maximum size and so on though, which may be why yours would not attach. I see the re-sizing instructions suggest making it less than 500kb.

Not sure if the file size is important (I've never had a pic rejected for that) but the maximum pixel size has to be 1200 or less on the longest side, (that probably takes care of the file size anyway).
