Just ordered some 2500 mAh AAs got 4 for £5.92, picked up some Duracell 2650 mAh AAs in Wickes for £9.99, can't beleive how long they take to charge. Unsure how they will compare with normal duracells? Any ideas?

Good Price at £5.92 Thumbright I would leave them on charge for a whole day initially before trying to use them and ignore any "full" indications.

In terms of life length, my digital camera takes 4 x AA batteries and the first set of brand-new rechargables I got lasted less then a day - sightseeing and taking photos and had to buy new batteries within about 3 hours. I rushed the charging on them and didn't give them the whole day.

Next set of rechargables I had charged for a whole day and they went into the camera at the end of June and I got the low battery warning yesterday - maybe about 600 photo's and a lot of flash.

I have Energiser 2500mAh Ni-Mh - Duracells should be equally as good - best in hi-energy devices.
Rechargables tend to drop off very fast when they are nearly drained as well - much more then std Alkaline.
