Been out for the day and when I got back home to be told that the local kids have decided to walk and ride there bike other the newly laid turf so now there a nice wide tyre mark in the lovely new turf and the parents don't even care, and we have put a sign out the front with big writing saying keep off newly laid grass.

Sorry to hear about the set back to your newly laid lawn and would add ,well done for laying one,to many people these days are going for decking, slabs, blocks, concrete, its good when you see a nice lawn, which am sure you will have once this little set back has been sorted

Mean while you may find barbed wire and electrified fencing handy :sad10:

The problem is that it's the front one and upuntil the side on the house is owned by us but down the side is public, we dont care if there on the grass down the side as that was laid by the the builders and badly I must say, but then they decided to yuse ours as cut across to the path
