I need to re-surface my desktop that I use for work/gaming as I've worn it away where my hands/mouse sit. (Yes I work at my PC for way too long  )

It's in perfect condition apart from where I've worn it out over the past 8 years & only the top needs re-surfacing, all the rest is spot on & I don't want to have to buy a whole new desk unit for the sake of only needing to repair 1 part.

I've tried my local timer yard for any laminate sheets that I could stick on & they didn't have anything useful, only a red melamine that didn't fit. Also, searching on Google is not being fruitful, neither is Ebay.

Does anyone know where I can find a (preferably, but not essential) light beech coloured, approx 0.25mm - 0.5mm thick, 850mm x 850mm laminate sheet?

Cheers!

Have a look in yellow pages or yell.com for kitchen worktop supplies.
I use a supplier in Portsmouth who will match as close as poss and cut to size.

:hello2: Instead of sticking laminate to your existing surface it could well work out cheaper to have a piece of wood cut to size & replace the whole top! :thumbright:

Or better still tile it with 300mm glazed tiles. :thumbright:
