I was wondering if any of you know of any uk stockists of Razor Knives. I bought one online from the US a few years back and it was great for splicing joints when paper hanging but it snapped on wednesday and when I went online to try and purchase another one, any of the online shops I found them on wouldn't deliver to the uk. Help

Hi Fats its just a knife which holds a single side razor blade, because its so sharp it is excellent for splicing paper. The single sided razors are cheap to buy as you can get 100 of them for around £5. Here's a link to the one I bought http://paint-and-supplies.hardwarestore.com/48-253-wallpaper-tools/razor-knife-wallcovering-trimmer-225896.aspx

That looks a good tool..shame to waste the whole blade though when you normally only use the corner of it to splice with..however I reckon it would make a nice window scraper afterwards wouldnt it?

Its a very useful tool and as I only use it for splicing or cutting dry sheets on the paste board a blade lasts a long time, I still use a good quality snap off blade for trimming the top and bottom of the drops when in place.
