Hi. I am looking to replace the bath in my flat without replacing anything else in the bathroom. The other units are relatively recent and in fine condition, but the bath is an old iron number whose enamel coating badly needs refurbishing. Rather than doing that I want to replace with a modern acrylic model.

However, to do this I need a bath of the same dimensions as my metal one, since it is a small bathroom and the toilet/sink units are within 5cm of the end/side of the bath, which itself measures 1500x650mm. I have scoured the internet and all I can find in this size is one model which seems to have been discontinued some time ago and is not available anywhere.

This few mm is the difference between a simple bath replacement and a costly reworking of my bathroom fixtures, so I thought I would ask you experts where, if anywhere, I might be able to source such a rare bath? Any suggestions appreciated :)

Hi Sean,

My relative had a similar issue, after living in their flat for twenty years they wanted to replace theirs. In the end they replaced theirs with a 1500mm x 700mm, are you sure that this isnt the measurement of your bath as a 1500mm x 650mm is a odd size. If you can fit in a 1500 x 700 i can find out the place they got theirs from for you if it would help?

Cheers

Would this get you out of trouble http://www.boundarybathrooms.co.uk/Bath ... fAodemc4rw

It is 650mm one end and 1000 the other?
