I read somewhere recently that cooked tomatoes can help lower your cholesterol levels: that's OK then, I'll have mine on a fried slice just in case the buggers are right.

Are there any programmes made on the BBC now without any incidental music?
It's even rife on the news now; unless it's in the studio there'll probably be some gimboid spastic banging away in the background on his plinky plonk piano.

Glad it's not just me that gets pissed off with that. There are some very interesting programmes on science and engineering but they always have music playing in the background.........I think it insults the viewer because they're almost telling you that you probably won't understand what they're on about so we'll supply a bit of music to keep you entertained.

I know exactly what you mean Richie but it's been going on for a long time
Heres a classic example where promising young contemporary artists work was overshadowed by the background music
