Hi one radiator doesn't heat up properley, I have bled it, no air came out but the water that did was discoloured. It does come on but even with the thermo valve on the highest setting it doesn't get anywhere near as hot as the other radiators. Help is much appreciated.

If it gets some heat then try balancing the lockshield valve, open the bad one about one turn, and then tweak the rest a tad

Do you open the lockshield clockwise or anti clockwise? I've turned it fully anti clockwise and it didn't make any difference. Although when I turned the pump on full it got hotter but not as hot as the other rads. Do you think tweaking the rest will do the job?

Yes tweaking should do the job.

Clockwise is off, anti is on, so turn the hottest ones down say half a turn at a time.
