I have seen a lot of people making benches and furniture from wooden pallets. I really can’t see the point to be honest as pallet wood is normally crap.

So I thought I’d make this lovely pallet from a wooden bench from the garden, It didn’t take long to make and probably took less than one hour.

I hope the girlfriend will appreciate the work that has gone into it

Now all you have to do is knock the pallet apart and make a seat. . .

Unless I'm mistaken he said he made the wooden pallet from the bench not the other way around. Although I don't know why?

Thanks for all of the comments.

The bench actually collapsed a few months back when me and the eldest daughter stood on it, as I was trying to retrieve some toy from the conservatory roof. I only fixed it back up for the purpose of the photograph and it gave me the chance to test out my pneumatic nail gun ;-)

I will use the pallet though as I have two pump trucks so it will come in useful and will be used more than the bench ever was

Get it on Face(palm)book - it would create quite the 'meme' and get some good advertising for the forum!

Nice pallet Chez!
I like the way it could be picked up with a pallet truck as well as a forklift :thumbright: :thumbright:
