Ok, you’ll get a laugh out of this. I’ve had a 2ft section of external fascia board replaced and painted with primer. Today I put on a second coat of primer but as the tins were near identical, i applied Unibond PVA glue. I’ve given myself a good slap and need to work out how to proceed. Should i remove the PVA or can I gloss over it? I suspect it needs to be removed by scraping or sanding. Any advice (other than to look at the tins properly!)?

Has it dried? If not wash it off (scotch brite might help), else I would sand it down for what it is worth or rather I would not try water based paint on it.

Oooops :welcomeuhm:

Thanks for the advice. I’ll sand & paint with oil based gloss. Appreciated!
