hi there
please help me how to do it. im an amateur
i dont know how to solidly put cover to a ceiling
there are lots of old screw holes in the ceiling so always cover
falls off and just hang . its so pain in the neck.
i do know you are specialist and gonna help me
can you ?

I've moved this topic to the Electrical section as it is a problem that Sparks come across a lot, especially as it is a Pull-switch.

If you can get access from above, take an offcut of wood (Any) place it on the other side of the plasterboard (Ceiling) and screw through into the wood.
