ROYAL MAIL POSTAL SCAM
The following information has been verified by both Royal Mail and Trading
Standards.
A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS ( Parcel
Delivery Service ) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and
that you need to contact them on 0906 6611911 ( a premium rate number ). DO
NOT call this number, as this is
a mail / telephone scam originating from Belize. If you call the number and
you start to hear a recorded message you will already have been billed £15
for the phone call. _________________ DIY | DIY Video |

This scam is still going on and has resurfaced.
As it is coming close to christmas it is a perfect time to run this scam and so please be aware.
There is also a similar one, where you have to call a mobile number and listen to a recorded message, this also costs about £1 per minute! _________________ DIY | DIY Video |

Great info UH  will keep that in mind.
The other one is, that someones brings a package to your door, says there is X amount outstanding to pay, for example £5, you hand over the £5, go inside, open it, and the box is empty. _________________ When I first met my Mr Right, I didnt realise his first name was Always. |

The PDS scam warning is now going the rounds as an email hoax. ICSTIS closed the premium-rate number back in December 2005, and fined the Belize company £10,000.
With all the CCTv cameras now watching us, it should be possible to discover just who comes to our door. |

There are a couple more similar scams where you are left a card and it is a premuim rate number. This should be outlawed _________________ DIY | DIY Video |
