Morning all,
I popped into the new B&Q warehouse at Hermiston gate Edinburgh this morning for some screws, figuring that a bulk buy would be cheaper, and i ended up buying a Ryobi one plus combi drill/jigsaw starter kit £103.69 (usually 139.99), Circular saw £52.69 (normally £69.99 and impact driver £52.69 (£69.99) and my screws,so i toddle off the trade till (by accident) and the cashier asks if i work myself and as i am just starting out as a sole trader she gives me a trade card there and then (didnt have any trade id with me) which was another 5% discount + a rebate at the end of the month, got that lot for £205.62!

Only went in for some screws!! Shocked Thumbright

Joe

Just read this and i find that all the b&q's are diffrent Rolling Eyes i live in the glasgow area and if i go into the airdrie or motherwell stores there is hardly ever any bargains

Recently i was in the parkhead store near the city centre actually picking up one of them valencia baths to go for a customer and the store was about closing , so theres me hauling a bath past the tool section when i noticed all these specials i bought the ryobi drill and jigsaw set with the batteries and charger for £50 because the box had seen better days

The set comes in a heavy duty canvas bag so they were in perfect condition inside , they had loads of other stuff a big bosch router ex display for £60 more ryobi drills 240v versions for £25

I personally think it all depends on the manager in the store and how keen he is on shifting stuff quickly if you dont beleive me visit different stores there offers are all different.
