got one of these lights out of costco for £15 last week.

Its rechargable, with 2 strip lights, and can be screwed to roof of van for some light at night. Can be removed and used as a work light as well. Its also go a built in stand so it can sit upright on a table etc.

Its bloody cracking and highly recommended Thumbright

You get 3 hrs with one strip on, 1.5hrs with both on. Just plug it in to charge again. I will just be using it to pop in van to get stuff and need some light, so it should last a good while before needing charged

other thing you can do with it is plug it in, and leave it in battery mode, then if there's a powercut, the light comes on.

Not much good in a house, as its a bit ugly and bulky...........but might be a usefull feature to someone? Razz

Ahh, the one tiny problem. I just presumed it would, but it doesnt, only 240v.

I have charged it off my van inverter, but i suppose that isnt the perfect solution, but it does charge it fine.

If he has one of these lights and he is in the shed when it is dark, I reckon he is standing there and saying....

"Why the &%&* didn't I recharge the battery Bang Head "
