Hi, I have an Hitachi (P819) which I was hoping to sell.
It hasn't been used for about 9 months, but was o.k when I last used it.
It has only been sitting in my lounge since then.
I turned it on for a prospective customer - but was annoyed to see that it had developed a fault.
When I turn it on the screen is completey grey, with thin white lines across it.
Nothing I do changes anything (when I say nothing I do, I mean trying to tune it in, volume, colour, channel swap etc etc)
I was about to say that it's too good to dump,,,,, but,,,,
if it sounds like an easy thing to fix or have fixed) then it might be worth it.
Any ideas folks ?

Sad to say, but I doubt it is worth spending much time and any money trying to fix
