What router have you got? And what router table??

It may simply require an adaptor plate.

Is it the one from Machine mart ? as i have one of those, and have used it once so far with reasonable results for what i was trying to achieve. Are you trying to use a half inch router or a quarter inch router?? it is only designed to take a quarter inch router if its the same as the one i have got.
