I've got a good friend (Maybe not after this story!) who loves DIY but never seems to get things quite right!

1. Upon drilling his walls to put up shelves he drilled through to next door ruining their decor! (Counjurs up images of the scene in Friends with Chandler and Joey!!)

2. Putting up pendant lights in the kitchen, blew all light circuits in the kitchen, then could only work with plug in wall lights! (He called it mood lighting!)

3. Upon changing a minor service part in a car resulted in diesel jetting over the engine when driving! Ended up costing more money to fix!!

That's just the start of it!! Fair play for effort though!!

What the ? either the walls just very thin or I don't want to think what size drill and bit he was using!!

Its strange, my brother who is academically very intelligent should have a DIY / Powertool ASBO as he is just an accident waiting to happen! Some people should just read books or stroke kittens!
