Hi guys,

New to this forum and have a really easy question that is not easy for me!!

I have a double light switch in the living room. One switch switches on the wall lights (right switch) and the other switches on the ceiling lights (left switch).

All I want to be able to do is swap them round so that the switch on the right does the ceiling lights and the switch on the left does the wall lights as it really annoys me and it just one of those little things that I want to get sorted.

I thought this would be farily easy but after looking at the back of the switch I realised that it wasn't so easy!

I have attached a diagram and annoted athe points with letters so you hopefully guide me to make the correct changes!

Put the wire that's going into terminal A into terminal D and vice-versa.

Alternatively,
Put the wire in terminal A into terminal B; the wire in terminal D into the unmarked terminal next to D. replace the switch upside-down.

Fantastic, thanks Stoday, works a treat. It also appears to have fixed another problem that I had where there was a slight delay in the halogen ceiling spots coming on which is great!!
