SV12SG Palm sander
200W
Found it a very comfortable sander to use for reasonable periods.
Powerfull, but if you put a lot of pressure on it, the orbital action stops.
It creates an excellent finish when used with fine paper, but can also remove a lot with coarser papers.
The on/off switch could benifit from being rotated so its a little easier to operate with your finger. The paper clips are strong and easy to undo. Its supplied with a punch plate.
The dust bag isnt brilliant when using very fine abrasives, the finer dust seems to just blow straight through. Vibration is minimal. _________________ Why isn't the number 11 pronounced onety one? |

i had that palm sander and the plate vibrated off, and all dust just passes straight through the dust bag.........got a makita one now, much better.
If you have one, i would check their rubbish plate screws regularly.......and buy a dust mask. _________________ Go on, adopt a greyhound http://www.dgrescue.org.uk/ .......................................................................... |
