I've buggered up the pics a bit, hence pic 1 and 4 being the same, but sod it.

If you're sure that the stress is no problem, and it's not a risk anywhere, then superb. I thought the fix using the extra bit of copper pipe linking the flexipipes to the compresison joint was a bit pikey but it seems to work!

I'm gona leave it over night with a pan under it and see if any leaks before I fit the sink back properly... fingers crossed!

Not ideal, but ok provided.

They ain't kinked.

You don't get water hammer when you shut the tap off.

Is that like when the pipes jolt and almost make a bang? They aint doing that

It should be ok then.

A better way to have done it would have been to make a complete circle with the flexi, and a longer piece of copper tube.

Good point - will try that if this fails. Very little room to move though so might be difficult!
