Always look around fin theres always a better deal mate --> Marples M373 - 6 piece set total cost £51.89 deliverd its not got the 1-1/2 or 2 inch chisels but unless your going to use them alot you dont realy need them.

hmmm yeah cheers mate. i jus figured having the 2 extra would be handy and for not a huge amount extra too.

those bigger chissels come in handy on loft conversions etc

bummmmeeerrrrrr i never got round to ordering a set of these. and looks like its dont do them anymore. they do the other type with the metal end cap.

these kinda p*ss me off with the tik tik noise off the hammer.

upset muchly lol

Hmmmm they are seconds and only £15 cheaper than shop quality ones that come in the presentation box. So all in all they are expensive as seconds should be cheaper than they are being sold at.

oops my bad i never read the description

my apprentice got a set in a box that came with a free record no4 plane for about £60,,

i payed about £55 for 4 a few years ago when they were made in sheffield

You used to pay £20 upwards for one marples twenty years ago.

think ill go for the split proof ones and jus buy the larger ones as and when i need em.

i was using my 3/4 marples yellow and blue one today and the metal striking cap just popped off lol. hasnt even been used very much.
