I see that Sainsbury's have the Black & Decker PLR36NC-GB 3.6V Cordless Screwdriver on sale at £18, anyone know if it's any good? Looking for a power dirver for fairly light DIY use.

Thanks,

will be good for machine screws like putting together flat pack
suspect you will probably have one battery and a 3hr charger so fairly useless
well googled it and guess what they say flat pack as well lol

ok its not in the present on line catalouge so old model but assuming its li-ion like the newer ones you can part charge as in put it on charge the night before but iff you forget its one battery and 6 to 9hrs charge time

Great, thanks. Charge time probably the big issue for me... I sometimes don't get much notice from mrs I for the required DIY projects.

Good reason for getting one then...as in..

"OK love ..I'll put the screwdriver on charge, and just nip out for a pint or two whilst it charges..."

I'm entering "IKEA hell" this weekend, given it's cheap I will go get this for the flatpacks... if it's any good i'll let you know.
