From my understanding all drivers that are available now, will continue to be so, but no new updates will be offered.

Have you run the Win 7 checker on your PC to see if you can update to this?

Peripheral manufacturers would be crazy to sell new devices without XP drivers included as XP is, and will remain, the most popular operating system for a couple of years yet.

By the time you need to physically change your PC (when it's beyond economic repair for example) you'll be ready to upgrade to the next version of Windows (which is probably going to be the successor to Windows 7  )

For now you're worrying over nothing.

Windows XP SP3 is now in what Microsoft call the extended support phase. If you have SP3 they will continue to provide support and updates until 8th April 2014. As kellys_eye says, drivers from hardware manufacturers will be around for some time yet.
