Hi, I'm about to seal my shower tray and fit a sliding shower door. The instructions for fitting the door say to seal the tray first and allow to dry. Then fit the shower door uprights for the door to fix too.Was wondering with the sealant already around the tray won't this prevent the uprights from sitting flush against the tiles?

Hi, Just fitted my shower screen.I have used silicone on the outside of the screen, along the tray and up either side. Do I need to seal with silicone on the inside of the screen also?

You don't seal the inside of the screen when it meets the tray, only the outside, as it has water drain points.

Yes you seal up the side.

I take it you mean to seal up the sides on the inside only and not the tray...Thanx for that!

Yes there should be weep hole in the bottom to let out any water ingress.

Good to know,
When I resealed my shower tray last time, I did notice there was no sealant on the bottom of the door frame.

Now I know why :)
