I bought the Tornado tongue and groove set from Rutlands. This two bit set did not match well and gave a sloppy fit on Shaker door joints so I had to buy the Trend shim set to adjust the spacing to get it right.
I wrote a customer review that explained this and Rutlands churlishly did not publish it. The shim pack adds £8 to make it a workable bit set.

Thats why I stick with trend.
Just popped onto their site though for a nose. The benches are dear. It is cheaper to make your own........only thing is you need a bench to make one pmsl.

my rail set was fine
i have several cutters from rutland[toledo] and put them fairly central between the cheap sets an trend pro
i do buy trend for the heavier used cutters but for occasional use toledo is great

No way I could justify spending £100+ on router bits, but... they look soooo pretty!!

but the good point is when you are playing with the cutters you can work out alternative uses and make great mouldings with multiple cutters in multiple passes

Hi Big-all
Thats what I meant....they are ok for chamfers, v-grooves. No dodgey finish with those cutters.
