The monthyly competition e-mails that I have been sending out will no longer be sent out as it is too much work for me to store and sort all the addresses.

Members can tell if they have won by checking the post in the forum for that month.

I may now send out the e-mails again, but through the forum software.

This will be much easier for me as all the e-mail addresses are in the database.

The e-mails will be in plain text with no pictures etc.

I'm no longer sending out e-mails with the competition winners listed for a few reasons, but the majority of people that enter the competition and are eligble are regular posters and will know immediately if they have won or not.

Do many prizes go unclaimed, because winner no longer visits the the site?

To be honest, if people dont continue to visit, and miss the fact they need to claim their prize by PM, its their own fault

There has not been an unclaimed prize yet, although I do tend to PM some members if they do not PM me because it is easier for me to go to the post office just once and I like to get prizes posted asap Wink
