I have a 100 year old house which by and large is in pretty good shape. Although there is no damp, I have patches of efflorescence in the front downstairs room and the front bedroom. What would you suggest would be a way to cure this please?

Hi,

Basically you are getting a small amount of dampness in the wall not really to blow the plaster but enough to cause salt (efflorescence) which is basically being drawn out via the internal walls, basically check outside if poss make sure dpc is clear clean off and seal the affected patch internal and redecorate but try and find the source of the damp first
