i,ve got a problem with my base my brother done for me last year,he as put down membrane but i think he split some of it..?the base is about 5/6 inch thick with a course of breeze blocks to make shed higher,but only just notice the damp because i had a load of problems with a metal shed leaks etc...i,ve got a new wooden shed on blocks so i know its not leakin now,and after a good rain i,ve notice dark patches in floor.the wood around base is still left in so i,am thinkin could this course the damp is the rain getting in,but ive cemented onto top of wood...?the back of base is same height as ground level and front comes up about 2 inch..?(gardens like a slope)..can anyone help me out,its the bain of my life:(.....base is 13x10,blocks have been cemented over and painted and i done a 45 angle of cement at bottom of blocks onto wood also painted.will add pictures asap thanks

confused here your shed must not sit on the concrete it must have roof felt or dpm between the wood and concrete
idealy the wooden sides must overlap the concrete by around 25mm and be 25 mm above the ground [earth]otherwise rot will take hold

hi how do i put up pictures...?then you will know what i mean,my sheds restin on breeze blocks on top of base it was to make my metal shad higher,so i left the breeze lbocks down then put wooden one onto bricks

found out how to get up pictures...one pictures of a bank at back of shed,could the rain be gettin in through the wood what was left in

yep looks fine would be more water tight if you could extend the sides to overlap the base or get dpm or felt vertical between clading and frame but would suggest if thats black sealent on the blocks paint it up onto the under edge off the wood to give a seal between the surfaces but after any treatment you may be adding to the wood

most am by the walls but there is one or two away from walls

rains not comin in by top of frame and thats not selent..breeze blocks was covered in cement and painted.is holes in dpm and wood is still left in
could the rain be gettin in sides

all my suggestions are between the base and concrete floor

short off any other cause i am assuming the water is running down the sides and running between the frame and concrette or indeed being blown under

indeed looking at your door and the right hand side off the door i would suspect these areas get damp!!!
