By sticker on them do you mean a reduced price sticker?

Where’s your local B&Q?

Well I’ve had a right run around this morning trying to find one at £250.

The closest B&Q warehouse to me is at the Silverlink (North Shields)…I went there first as I had seen the DW712 there for £299 last week….there was no saws on show so I asked if they had any left…..the guy said they had sold out as the price had been reduced to £250.
He checked if any of the other nearby stores had any left …they did.

I went to the next closest B&Q (Scotswood Road) only to find that the saw there was still priced at £299…..I spoke to one of the assistants & told him that the Silverlink store had been selling them at £250….he checked with the manager who said the Silverlink had reduced the saw as the store has just been refurbished & had some “New Store Look” offers on….& that they were Not going to drop the price any lower in the foreseeable future.

I was also told the same at another nearby B&Q (Washington)

@ handyman & tim’ll fix it

Had the stores where you saw it for £250 just been refurbished…new displays etc?

I really want one of these for £250 now.

Handforth is my nearest but I refuse to go 'cos its cr*p.....however, if I'm in the middle of a job and I need something quickly I take the chance and 99% of time I end up wasting more time going back to Stockport. Now thats had a refurb and IMO its bringing it in line with Handforth :? or is it that BnQ is just going down hill

I think B&Q reduce the prices on a store by store basis….something’s are nation wide some aren’t.
I’ll give the stores near to me a ring over the weekend to see if they do end up reducing the price to £250.

Thanks for the heads up anyway.

Cheers.
